Great place to grab a bite in West Asheville! Great outdoors and indoor areas. Food is always great! Good draft beer selections! Our server John was super nice! Love the U Joint!

Five stars for the food. Three stars for the service. Three stars for the cleanliness of the restaurant. We ordered burgers, fries, and tator tots. The food was all excellent (Steinbeck burger is beyond words). The service was friendly, but slow. The place could use a scrub IMHO. Parking is a nightmare m, but that's not their fault.

I would love to give a 5 star but I did indeed have mold on my lemons:/ besides that everything was SPECTACULAR!! I drove 2 hours here today from Tennessee just to see one of my best good pals!! Today we came across this gem and I will indeed admit besides the lemons the Bison Burger, Buffalo Wings and Nachos were top notch! Will definitely have the squirts tonight but absolutely a 10/10 food wise! Xoxo

This place was great! Good food and lots of craft beer options. The staff is awesome, and our pups loved their dog-friendly patio.

Universal Joint in in West Asheville for lunch today. Usually, I get something lighter like the fish tacos, but today, I tried the California Burger and did not regret it one bit. I appreciate a good smash burger, but I gotta say, a nice well-seasoned and well-cooked thick patty burger really does hit the spot sometimes! Nice ripe avocados, grilled onions, bacon, monterey jack cheese and a spicy sweet sauce with just enough kick. All on a soft brioche/egg bun. The fries were fresh and crisp and service was friendly, prompt and warm! My husband said he couldn't stop thinking about that burger Every time we've been there, the bartender has been very accommodating and on top of things. They also have a kids menu and we love the neighborhood, open air feel. Check it out!

We were in the mood for sandwiches, burgers & beers. This place met that easily & heartily. Great vibe spot in the heart of West Asheville's Haywood Rd food & drink corridor. Truly great service - knowledgeable on the craft beer selection. Our food was really good & fresh. And always nice when places are thoughtful about our dogs. Having our server bring a bowl & cold water was so greatly appreciated on a hot summer day for our dog & other patrons dogs as we sat outside under cover. An excellent stop spot while strolling Haywood for a beer - where you can sit in or outside. Rustic bar indoors with good local vibe.
